Join us next Friday, August 7th for the first annual Cuisine for Cancer presented by Imerman Angels and Sleefood. August has been declared National Cancer Support Month by Imerman Angels (they support cancer fighters, survivors AND caregivers throughout the world) and this unique event kicks it off! Cuisine for Cancer, Chicago’s first collaborative charity culinary event, will raise awareness and donations for 10 local cancer support organizations.
What: Chefs from over 20 of Chicago’s top local restaurants (like Taco Joint, The Hampton Inn and Bull and Bear) will work with ten local charities to create an original Latin fusion-themed dish judged by a panel of Chicago celebrity judges. Guests will also receive 2 tokens to vote for People’s Choice as well. VIP admission starts at 7 pm and general admission at 8 pm. VIP gets you an extra hour of food and dranks and a pop up liquor lab (fun!). For more event details, look here.
Where: Morgan Manufacturing, 401 N. Morgan, a beautiful industrial space in the West Loop with a (GASP) rooftop!!
What to Wear: Summer cocktail attire (think cute sun dresses, chic shorts and silky tops and for dudes, well whatever ya’ll wear to be cocktail-ish)
Who: Us, you, errybody!
How mucho: TICKETS $85 for general admission, $135 for VIP or check out Sosh for discounted ticket opportunities. 100% of profits go to the local cancer agencies.
