The American Diabetes Association is the Fit Foodie 5K Race Weekend’s official charity. Make sure to wish them a happy anniversary as it’s their 75th year in the charity biz. A mission to prevent and cure diabetes, the American Diabetes Association seeks to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. This cause is dear to both of our hearts as we have family members affected by diabetes. 5% of all race entries and t-shirt sales for the first 2,000 runners and 10% thereafter benefit The American Diabetes Association.
